The system will be undergoing scheduled maintenance on Sunday, March 16 from 2:00 AM to 6:00 AM. Please save your work ahead of time and be prepared for system unavailability during this period. This maintenance is necessary to implement important security updates and performance improvements.
We've added new features to the Document Management System including advanced search capabilities, batch processing, and improved metadata handling. These enhancements will make it easier to organize, find, and work with legislative documents. Training sessions on these new features will be held next week.
All users are required to update their passwords by March 15 to comply with new security requirements. The new password policy requires at least 12 characters, including uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Please see the email from IT Security for detailed instructions.
Starting March 15, the Legislative Library will extend its operating hours to better serve the needs of the House staff and researchers. The new hours will be: Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Friday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Saturday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Sunday: Closed.
The Legislative Library has subscribed to the LexisNexis Legislative Analytics database, which provides comprehensive legislative data and analytics tools. This resource is now available to all staff members and can be accessed through the library portal.
The document classification system has been updated with new categories to better organize legislative materials. All existing documents have been automatically reclassified according to the new system. Please see the attached guide for details on the new classification scheme.
